Ugly Truth of Life

You have perhaps heard the famous quote attributed to Abraham Lincoln, “You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.”
     

Most people however don’t try to fool people, but rather spend their life pleasing different people like their parents, their spouse, their children, their bosses etc. However, they realize sooner or later this ugly truth of life that can be derived by paraphrasing the above quote as,

“You can PLEASE some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not PLEASE all of the people all of the time.”

  

However, the ugliest truth of life is that whatever you do in your life, You CAN’T PLEASE even one person all of the time.
  

When you try to please any person, you end up displeasing another person.

After you have spend most of your life, you realize that you have failed to please even ONE person in your life and that everyone is unhappy with you.
  

Hence, most people end up being unhappy and frustrated in their life after realizing that they have wasted their life in their attempt to please so many people ignoring their own happiness.
  

There is only person worth pleasing in your life.
  

And that person is YOU.
  

If you fail to make yourself happy, you will end up being a loser because the world can never be pleased even if you give your life for them.
  

You must rather accept this ugly truth of life and learn to take care of yourself because you have the power to only make yourself happy.
